Like on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TangerineFilm “Gorgeous. A perfectly cast, beautifully directed movie.” – The New York Times Watch the Red Band Trailer for Sundance Film Festival hit film Tangerine. In theatres July 10th. It’s Christmas Eve in Tinseltown and Sin-Dee (newcomer Kitana Kiki Rodriguez) is back on the block. Upon hearing that her pimp boyfriend (James Ransone, STARLET, “Generation Kill”) hasn’t been faithful during the 28 days she was locked up, the working girl and her best friend, Alexandra (newcomer Mya Taylor), embark on a mission to get to the bottom of the scandalous rumor. Their rip-roaring odyssey leads them through various subcultures of Los Angeles, including an Armenian family dealing with their own repercussions of infidelity. Director Sean Baker’s prior films (STARLET, PRINCE OF BROADWAY) brought rich texture and intimate detail to worlds seldom seen on film. TANGERINE follows suit, bursting off the screen with energy and style. A decidedly modern Christmas tale told on the streets of L.A., TANGERINE defies expectation at every turn. 2. Snow Steam Iron

Snow Steam Iron – Zack Snyder, Director of “300 Spartans” and “Keepers” released a 4-minute short film “Snow, Steam, Iron”, shot on the iPhone. First, watching the movie was possible only through the Vero application (available for Android and iPhone), which is a social network for independent authors. However, later the fans of the director posted the picture on YouTube. The site Vero reported that Snyder made the project in a few days without serious efforts with little help of his family crew – his son and daughter. The director stated that it was a strange experience, “but the family, being together, was more creating the film than talking”. Snyder shot the film completely on the iPhone, the device model and the amount of additional equipment he did not disclose.

4. Romance in NYC

Plot Summary Romance in NYC is a PoV perspective of the Boyfriend and his Girlfriend taking you on a journey through their life enjoying an everyday in NYC, but capturing the tiny nuances that are romance, even in the most mundane situations, with NYC as a beautiful backdrop. The goal is to give you the feeling of ‘I remember that,’ from one relationship or another, to ‘I want that day’ without going over the top cheesy… balancing romance and realistic situations. To achieve the right intimate candid feel, it was shot entirely on an iPhone.
